World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition blows a hole in XBL next week

Wargaming has today declared that its all-conquering and free-to-play World of Tanks will be hitting Xbox Live next week, following the closing of the game’s beta last week.

World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition has been custom built specifically with Xbox 360 in mind, transporting the series’ team-based tactical online tank warfare to console with revamped controls, matchmaking, a new user interface and other new features.

All Xbox Live account holders will be able to sample the game via a 7-day timed trial, while Xbox Live Gold members will be able to digitally download World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition when the game launches globally on 12th February. World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition will feature over 100 iconic tanks and will feature in-game purchases, including premium tanks and various consumables.
