We’re Not a Factory Says: Remedy Games

Ever thought to yourselves Alan Wake took its time coming to fruition? Well that’s because Remedy Games have said to Joystig that they’re not a “Factory” and like to take their time on games and not rush them to make profit.

Curently in it’s fifth year of development, Lead Writer, Sam Lake comments on why Alan Wake is taking so long;

“Remedy is not a factory, we take our time and try out different things until we feel have found the right combination and a good balance for the game. We have been in the fortunate position where we’ve had time to do research and do prototypes… Keep the quality bar high and explore, until we find the right combination of different elements. Things have evolved along the way. This is an action game, but there is a lot of variety.”

So there you have it luckily we dont have long to wait until Alan Wake hits our screens, but let us know your thoughts by leaving your comments below.
