Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has posted the Xbox Live Activity for the week beginning Monday 18th August 2008. The top three remain the same aslast week’s and there’s a surprise new entry at four, with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Demo. Madden NFL 09 drops Gears of War down to 6 –the lowest position the game has been since release. Guitar Hero III tips Rock Band to seventh position. The last two positions are filled by Battlefield: Bad Company and SOULCALIBUR IV.

There are also a few surprises in the Top Arcade Titles list. The newest Xbox Live Arcade release fails to top the leaderboard. Instead, Fable II Pub Games appears to be the most popular Arcade title this week. Last week’s leader, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, drops down to fourth with Braid staying put in third. Geometry Wars Evolved², UNO, 1942: Joint Strike, DOOM and N+ all drop one position and Marble Blast Ultra sneaks in to the tenth position.
