Today Valve has announced that they have their “First title coming soon to Microsoft’s Next Generation Console”.
Taken from the announcement:
“The combination of Source and the 360 provides game designers the chance to create powerful entertainment experiences,” said Gabe Newell, president and co-founder of Valve. “Whether developing a traditional FPS, RTS, RPG or delving into new genres, the Xbox 360 is a great platform for expanding Source and our game experiences.”
So Valve look like they are prepared to bring other titles to the Xbox 360, but any guesses as to what title will be “coming soon”? Rumours are going around thatThe SiN episodes might be heading our way. This sounds quite possible as Ritual Entertainment developers have expressed their interest in bringing titles to the 360.
The SiN episodes are game episodes which are released on the Steam client one by one and each episode takes about 3 – 6 hours to complete. With 9 episodes to be released that’s a lot of gaming.
