Updated: The even better deal of the week

Update: It seems Major Nelson had made a mistake and was given incorrect information. This weeks deal is actually only the Marvel Ultimate pack which we posted earlier today.

We are led to believe that next week’s Deal of the Week will be Bionic Commando Rearmed, but we will keep you updated on developments.

Original story:

Alright, so earlier we told you about this weeks Marketplace Deal of the Week which was the rather poor Marvel Ultimate Alliance – Hero/Villain combo pack which is reduced to 560 MS Points (£4.76).

Then Major Nelson decided to spring us a surprise. We all presumed Bionic Commando Rearmed would be reduced next week as rumoured on various interent messageboards.

However that reduction has moved forwards and will be available on the Marketplace for the bargain price of 400 MS Points (£3.40) reduced from 800 MS Points.

Our very own Chris, reviewed the game last year as part of the Summer of Arcade and was very impressed by it, giving it 90%. He said:

“Bionic Commndo Rearmed is quite a tough game, just like the original. It is an almost faithful recreation of the NES classic that made me feel like the developer and Capcom really knew what they were doing. Bionic Commando is not as amazing as the recently released Braid, but it is up there as one of the best Xbox LIVE Arcade titles available”.
