The first images of the golden lancer in Gears of War 2 have been posted by OXM UK. The images, snapped by Stefan Hobman (a friend of the OXM team), show Carmine holding the lancer – only available as part of a pre-order deal at certain retailers.
Whilst the weapon is available to pick-up once the player holding it is killed, you won’t be able to keep it after the match. Gears of War 2 is released this Friday (7th November 2008). What do you think of the golden lancer? Is it really worth it? Leave us a comment with your thoughts.
