There “could be” an opportunity for Ubisoft to alternate between Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed year on year, Watch Dogs’ creative director Jonathan Morin has told VideoGamer.com, before stating that the publisher is waiting to gauge the reaction to this year’s cyber-thriller before it commits to future titles.
Asked whether Ubisoft could alternate between new Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed titles in future years, Morin replied: “Could be. I don’t know. Right now I’m focussing on Watch Dogs The Game, and we’ll see when it comes out and people can scream their reaction and afterwards we’ll see what happens.
“There’s no point in being hasty about those things afterwards. Let’s just wait and see and not be cocky about it.”
