Ubisoft appoints ‘Chief Parkour Officer’ for Assassin’s Creed series

Ubisoft has recruited a parkour expert to assist with the development of Assassin’s Creed titles.

Michael ‘Frosti’ Zernow will take on the role of “Chief Parkour Officer” and will “serve in a strategic advisory role, ensuring an ongoing commitment to the authenticity and accuracy of parkour beginning with the October 28 launch of Assassin’s Creed: Unity”.

According to the press release, Zernow is from Tempest Freerunning (a group of world-class free runners) and has previously performed in parkour motion capture sessions for video games.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity launches on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 28th, 2014.
