I’m proud of Sony, they are starting the slow process of catching up to Xbox 360’s array of unique features – while not completely original on their part, it’s a step in the right direction. You’ve been able to sign into playstation.com with your PSN ID since November, have a portable ID that really doesn’t show much apart from display your PSN tag – So it’s about time the PS3 team start making that useful!
Welcome to viewing achievements … I mean Trophies online! Check out the above video to see what will be going live tomorrow.
I’ve got to admit, I still find it all very cheap with the blatant copying of Xbox 360 Achievements. Even the PlayStation blog ironically tags this post ‘Inside PlayStation’. It’s not that I want the PS3 to fail, oh not at all. It is a brilliant system with some fantastic games heading out this year – it’s just that the PlayStation used to be the forefront of gaming when I was a little girl. I want more original ideas from, them that’s all. Come on Sony, win my heart back!
