Treyarch Is Getting Started on Call of Duty 9

Like clockwork Treyarch it seems has begun putting together Call of Duty number 9.

The studios website and Gamasutra both posted an ad looking for a multiplayer level designer calling more specifically for “an expert understanding of the Call of Duty game universe”.

They went on to say that they are searching for an “expert on recent first person shooters and the trends of the genre” to serve as game designer/scripter. The interview process could also involve “a design test utilizing Call of Duty mod tools”.

Treyarch have done themselves proud with Call of Duty 3, World at War and most notably Black Ops storming the charts on release. Can they improve the series further with game number 9 and I wonder what they will christen the game?

Modern Warfare 3 is hitting stores November the 8th along with Call of Duty Elite in the mean time keep an eye out for more info on Call of Duty 9.

Despite a long absence from gaming, during which he spent many a night reminiscing about the glory days on Halo 2, Matty is now back online smashing his way through Black Ops and soon enough Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3.
