THQ has revealed its new logo at its New York Gamers event today. The logo, viewable on the publisher’s website, will use the redesign from February.

The company behind WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011, Metro 2033 and The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout had this to say:

“When a company dramatically changes its vision and strategy, its visual identity must change with it.”

“The new THQ is dedicated to providing extraordinary interactive experiences across multiple media platforms. By emphasizing innovation and quality, and by partnering with the most creative people in the entertainment industry, THQ is placing “creativity first.”

The new logo “expresses this evolution: original, creative and powerful.”
