We’ve already had some information dropped into the office today about the Xbox Live Arcade game next week.
Called The Maw, it’ll be available from the 21st January for 800 MS Points (£6.80 pre-decimal currency). You are in charge of an alien called Frank, who is friends with the Maw. The Maw is a blob that eats and grows, which sounds intriguing.
You guide the beast around the game collecting things along the way. Its essentially a platform/puzzle game with some 3D worlds in which you solve the bulk of the puzzles.
The game was awarded ‘The Audience Choice Award’ at the Penny Arcade Expo and won an award at the Independent Games Festival, so we have high hopes for it.
