EA have released details regarding a price and contents of the Beatles: Rock Band which will launch on September 9th.
The Limited Editon Premium Bundle pack will set you back £179 (we’re already groaning under the strain of plastic instruments and money constraints).
However the pack will be more than just a bog standard plastic guitar and drums. Well it is still plastic, but you will get a Hofner Bass controller (a replica of the one used by Sir Paul), a set of drums which will feature a classic pearl finish and replica Beatles kick drum head and a microphone with stand.
There is a promise of ‘additional special content’ as well, but we’re not quite sure what that means yet.
Those dedicated to pre-ordering will be able to join a special club called The Beatles: Rock Band Pre-Order Club where you can access breaking news, exclusive game elements and art footage. This will launch in May with a promise of plenty of content before release in September. An interesting incentive to pre-order anyway.
It’ll be out worldwide, on all consoles (yes at the same time shockingly), on September 9th 2009 (09/09/09) – how clever.
