Tales From The Borderlands

Telltale Games have long dominated the field of episodic content, storming through Steam throwingSam & Maxhither, thither and everywhither, and most recently found an enormous market with their episodic adaptation ofThe Walking Dead. They’ve now turned their eye toward critical darling and cel-shaded masterpiece Borderlands as the source material for their next project.

The first images from this project, entitledTales From The Borderlands, have emerged on the Playstation blogand confirm that Telltale will be sticking to their established formula.

I’m a sucker for episodic content, but I’ll probably wait to snag these badboys on sale, though it’s hard to argue with their $5 price point as it stands. Odds on that this will drop as a tie in with the release ofBorderlands: The Pre-sequel between Q3 and Q4.

Sam Finch

Sam has been unable to peel his bloodshot eyes and RSI-ridden wrists from the world of gaming since he was first introduced to it, like all good junkies, by his Grandad. From those early days of MegaDrive sweetness, bashing through the throngs of enemies on Shining Force II, his love of all things games has extended upwards and outwards onto a variety of platforms. You can either believe that spiel, or get the real scoop and know that his spaceship actually crashed here some years ago and he is currently incognito as a games writer for Console Monster.
