Have you been itching for new Xbox Live Arcade games have been lately? Well, it looks like that itch is going to be scratched. A GameSpot article posted yesterday says that, “…according to the leaked statement, which was dated April 12, the recurring event will be creatively titled ‘Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays.’ At midnight PDT (8am BST) on every titular day, Microsoft will release an Xbox Live Arcade game.”
The article goes on to date the following games: Frogger is slated for release today; brand new 2D platformer Cloning Clyde is expected on July 19th; classic shoot-em-up Galaga is hitting Marketplace on July 26th.
A week after Galaga, arguably the most anticipated Xbox Live Arcade titles will be ready to be bought on the Marketplace; Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting.
UPDATE: The prices were released early Wednesday morning. Frogger, Galaga and Pac-Man will be 400 Microsoft Points, while Street Fighter II will be at 800 points along with Cloning Clyde.
