Some next-gen GTA V players are unable to transfer account

A number of next-gen Grand Theft Auto V players have been unable to transfer their GTA Online account from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The problem relates to users who haven’t played the game online since 2013, according to Rockstar’s Support page.

The post explains: “We are urgently looking into an issue preventing character transfer and GTA Online login on accounts that haven’t played GTA Online since 2013 … Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and thanks for your patience.”

Grand Theft Auto V launches on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today (Tuesday, November 18th, 2014).
