Interesting news today that will have gaming fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation of the upcoming 343 Industries shooter, Halo 4.

Hideo Kojima has revealed that Solid Snake may make an appearance in the Xbox 360 shooter Halo 4. Although details were few and far between Kojima hinted that Solid Snake may appear in certain co-op levels with player two being able to jump in and help out Master Chief as the legendary commando from FOXHOUND.

Kojima even hinted of the codename ‘Polar Foil‘, a little cryptic but perhaps it is the mission name that Snake teams up with Master Chief on.

Halo 4 continues a fair while after the original trilogy with Master Chief and Cortana returning to face an ancient alien threat intent on wiping out the entire universe.

343 Industries have yet to comment on the news but as they say no news is good news.
