At a recent Codemasters event in London this week, PR put on a Sensible Soccer tournament to give the gaming press the chance to lace up their virtual boots and slide their merry way into trying out the upcoming Amiga title which is soon to hit Xbox LIVE Arcade.
It was at this event that Codemasters found it to be the best time to release the date for this soccer title. Sadly, like us here at Monster towers, if you are giddy at the knees in anticipation for Sensible Soccer to appear on Xbox LIVE Arcade this month you will have to hold out that little bit longer, as Sensible Soccer will hit the Arcade on August 29th. Codemasters also revealed at the event that Sensible Soccer will also cost a wallet friendly 800 MS Points, a price we hope will appeal to many fans old and new to the game.
Utilising the original 96/97 code, updated to support online play and featuring both classic and enhanced modes, Sensible Soccer is looking to be a must have title for any soccer fan around the globe. A version for Vista is also in the works and will be released at a much later date. Whether we will see cross-platform play between Xbox 360 and PC Vista versions remains unknown. We’ll keep you posted on any further Sensi updates.
