Sandbox Strategies have released an update for their large-scale, futuristic strategic first person shooter *breath*, Section 8. The update, which will automatically download the next time players put the disc into their disc trays whilst signed into Xbox Live, fixes upon some of the game’s problems. These include:
• Tank controls have been tuned, making them more intuitive and responsive
• The improved automatch system offers enhanced responsiveness when searching for a server
• Bot AI has been improved. Bots will now follow and defend allies and will pursue retreating targets more aggressively
• An improved stat tracking framework
Console Monster’s Chris Taylor “really would like to recommend Section 8” because of “some pretty neat features which make it stand out from Halo, especially if you are tired of it, but the fact it is mainly an online game with not enough people playing it renders it obsolete.” You can read the full review here.
