There’s great news incoming from Sony if you’re a SackBoy fan.

First up is the announcement of a demo of the story mode of LittleBigPlanet 2, due to land on December 22nd. It will feature some of the new gameplay types contained within the game including the all new Grapple Hook.

Secondly, Sony have announced a PSN spin-off that will see SackBoy and gamer interact using the Move controller. Called Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves, the PSN title features ten dinosaur themed levels, created by Terrance Dactyl (yes, you read that right), where Evil Big Rex is king. It’s a stand-alone package and doesn’t require either retail game in order to play it, though you will need the Move controller. Priced at 6 Euros it will be available to download on 15th December. It you’re a PSN+ subscriber, you’ll be able to get your hands on it a week earlier for the bargain price of free.

Marty has been gaming since the heady years of the ZX-81 and still owns most of the gaming systems purchased since those days, including the Atari 2600, ZX Spectrum, SNES, Jaguar, Dreamcast and GameCube. Being a collection junkie (or more accurately, hoarder), he buys more games than he can possibly play, far too many of which are still sealed in their packaging. Marty favours RPGs and Driving games when it comes to genres, and is possibly a little bit too addicted to Disgaea. When not gaming he’s out frightening OAPs on his motorcycle, clad in black leather.
