Rockstar warns GTA Online servers could be’temperamental’ during first few days of launch

Rockstar has warned that access to Grand Theft Auto Online could be “temperamental” during the “first few days” following its launch next Tuesday, admitting that it is anticipating a “significantly higher number of players” than initially thought.

In an update on itsNewswire, Rockstar said that it was “working around the clock to buy and add more servers” in an attempt to alleviate pressure on next week’s launch.

Community feedback will be “vital for the ongoing success of the game,” Rockstar said. “The first few months of Grand Theft Auto Online will be critical as everyone enters this dynamic new world for the first time. Plenty of issues are bound to occur.
