Rockstar has not canned E3 announcement

Rockstar have not canned any E3 announcements, despite earlier reports suggesting they had done so.

CVG had claimed that Rockstar had “stepped down” its plans for the E3 show, taking place in 2 weeks time in LA. A spokesperson said to them: “we will be focusing on scheduling dedicated press rounds at our headquarters in the coming weeks.”

However, it has emerged this afternoon thanks to a Twitter post from Rory Buckeridge, associate Editor for Nuts Magazine that no such announcement had being planned:

“Clarification: Rockstar tell me no E3 game announcement canned. They were just showing games on their stand. Nothing to see here”, he tweeted.

The company will simply showcase some new and upcoming titles such as LA Noire and Max Payne 3 as originally planned. It was thought that GTA V could feature at the show in trailer form, however it seems we’ll have to wait a little longer.
