RIDE sequel on the way?

Tony Hawk has revealed what we all wanted to hear, that a new Tony Hawk: Ride is in development.

Despite the original game bombing at retail and with faults galore with the board, developer Robomodo is heading back to the drawing board.

The top skater revealed the news on his Twitter (get down with the kids yeah?). What he did Tweet was:

“Just met with @robomodo about our next project and it’s already much better than I expected. Details soon. Chicago is not warm,”

Of course we’re only presuming it’d be a sequel to Ride, after all why would the skater be involved in anything else?

That doesn’t mean it couldn’t be a new experience for the board such as surfing or snowboading, as Hawk expressed desire to do this recently.

He even criticised the press for poor review scores, as we told you in December. We’ve still not bothered to spend the money on grabbing a copy of the game, so for now make your own mind up from those poor review scores elsewhere.
