PS3 get some of their own exclusives

It’s not often you get to good hear news like this if you’re a PS3 owner, but Sony have managed to bag a few exclusive extras for multi-console games of their own.

Firstly Sony have announced a special edition of Medal of Honor exclusively for PlayStation 3. This special edition will feature a HD remake of the 2002 classic, Medal of Honor Frontline.

“Available on PlayStation 3 for the very first time, Frontline has been completely remastered in HD with improved graphics, and all of the heart-wrenching battles of the original game.”

Secondly Sony have also teamed up with EA again in the form of an exclusive special edition for Dead Space 2. The limited edition will include the award-winning Dead Space Extraction, the prequel to the entire Dead Space saga, now featuring support for the PlayStation Move motion controller. Launching January 28th 2011, Dead Space 2 will unleash a truly epic Action Horror experience that will bring the psychological thrills of deep space to a terrifying new level.

Will any of you be purchasing these limited edition versions of the game? I think it’s good for Sony to be showing that they aren’t pushovers and will try and get exclusive content where available!
