Project Spark Xbox One beta goes live – sign up for free now

That hideous bang you heard just now? That’s the sound of minds being blown – either that, or you’ve forgotten to turn the gas off again. Team Dakota’s game creation sim Project Sparkgoes live todayon Xbox One, allowing users to sculpt, play and share entire worlds for the very reasonable price of absolutely nothing whatsoever.

Head over to thesign-up pageto get involved – successful applicants will receive an email with a download code. It’s not clear how many beta keys are available, so if you’re keen, apply without further ado.

The Xbox One beta includes access to anything and everything created in the Windows 8.1 beta, which has been underway since December 2013. You’ll be able to work on a single creation on both platforms simultaneously. I’m looking forward to walking the leafy dells of the below Oakvale recreation, personally – it’s the work of PC beta player MrXbob.
