Project Natal to require ‘4 metres’ of space

Microsoft has given hints at how much space you’ll require in your room to play Project Natal games.

According to Techflash, you’ll require an area of around 4 metres (13 feet) if you want to be picked up fully by the Natal sensors.

“In terms of width and height, the field of vision naturally expands as it moves from the Natal device to that back edge, ending up a little more than 4 meters wide and 2.7 meters high (about 8 feet, 10 inches),” said the report.

It has begun to worry Japanese gamers due to the small living spaces in which they live, compared to us Brits with our huge mansions.
