Project Natal has received a confirmed release date of October in the UK. Microsoft’s marketing manager for Entertainment & Devices in Saudi Arabia Syed Bilal Tariq revealed the news during an interview clip on Saudi TV, stating: “I do have great news to share with everybody – that Project Natal will be launched in Saudi Arabia on the [inaudible] that it will be launched in the world – that is going to be somewhere in October.“
The date was hinted at back in February when Jonathan Ross tweeted his thoughts at a playtest, stating that Project “Natal on X Box impressive. Not quite there yet i think but [they] have [till] october and if they get it right…skys the limit.”
Furthermore, Syed Bilal Tariq revealed that a definite release date is expected at the E3 Expo, continuing: “We will be in a position to confirm the date after E3, which is in June. But definitely, it is going to be October 2010.“
Also to be revealed at the E3 Expo is the full line-up of titles launching with Project Natal in October. The E3 expo occurs on the 15th – 17th June. Further details can be viewed on the website.
