UK game retailers have rumoured to have agreed that on March 14th the Xbox 360 console price is due to be slashed a news statement has revealed. The team over at TechRadar have revealed that £38.26 is rumoured to be chopped of the retail price. This would mean the likes of the Xbox 360 Elite would cost as little as £240 and the basic Arcade pack (without Hard Drive) would cost as little as £150 and in doing so become the cheapest next generation console.

What are your thoughts on the Price Cut? Do you think it is a move by Microsoft to try and sway new gamers to the 360 with the imminent release of Grand Theft Auto IV? Let us know be leaving a comment below!
