Overlord: Raising Hell hits retail

Today, 20th June, sees the release of the Playstation3 title Overlord: Raising Hell.

Originally released as an Xbox360 game, Overlord has the player taking on the role of a super demon evil doer, controlling an aggressive army of minions, and generally causing as much mayhem as possible in order to protect a haul of precious loot.

With five additional supernatural realms to explore, an on-screen map (at last!), online co-operative play and head-to-head slaughter, CodeMasters claim that the that the visuals have been enhanced, and state they’ve made the most of the 7.1 surround sound system the PS3 supports.

Why not visit CodeMasters’ website to find out more? Or try the demo on the Playstation Network.

Marty Greenwell

Marty has been gaming since the heady years of the ZX-81 and still owns most of the gaming systems purchased since those days, including the Atari 2600, ZX Spectrum, SNES, Jaguar, Dreamcast and GameCube. Being a collection junkie (or more accurately, hoarder), he buys more games than he can possibly play, far too many of which are still sealed in their packaging. Marty favours RPGs and Driving games when it comes to genres, and is possibly a little bit too addicted to Disgaea. When not gaming he’s out frightening OAPs on his motorcycle, clad in black leather.
