Operation Flashpoint to get patch and DLC

Codemasters has revealed to Eurogamer, the first batch of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising DLC is on its way.

In an interview with the website, Executive producer, Sion Lenton told them that a patch will also be released ‘within two-to-four weeks’.

The patch will improve network optimisation to make the game perform better online. It’ll be out at a similar time to the new DLC pack.

No details were given on what the DLC will contain, but it will be the first of many more packs further down the line including new levels and game modes.

They also hope to offer new equipment to enhance the game experience.

Our Luke found the game quite decent saying in his review:

“Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is an intense, realistic, first person shooter that will bring gamers as close to war as they’ll ever want to experience. It’s been an Eight year wait for Dragon Rising, but man was it worth it.”

Best go and buy a copy then.
