One More Sleep Until The Next PlayStation…

With only one more sleep until Sony’s big day we have had a few more PlayStation Evolution videos do the rounds on the internet and we’ve collected them up and spat them out on to these very pages, below.

The third in the series of videos looks at the PlayStation 3. Featuring Blu-ray disc compatibility, a powerful Cell processor, a larger hard-drive and high definition visuals via HDMI, the PlayStation 3 has managed to serve gamers well for many years.

The forth released Evolution of PlayStation video looked at Portable Gaming. Sony unveiled the PSP in 2003 and over the years has seen a number of upgrades and changes both inside and out. Now branded as PlayStation Vita, this portable console brings a PS3-like quality of gaming into your hands and has seen a number of indie developers label the handheld as their ‘go to’ platform of choice.

Sony’s fifth video release looks back at PlayStation games and how it has pushed the boundaries of play via innovative software titles such as Gran Turismo and Journey.

So this could be Sony’s last look back at the Evolution of PlayStation before we hear about what they plan on doing next. The leaky bucket of the world wide web has already started to spill the beans with images of new controllers branding Move sensors and touch pads, to the recent domain registration by Sony/Gaikai of “PlayStation Cloud”. Who knows what else will leak out of the bucket in the next 24 hours. Stay tuned to Console Monster where we will certainly have our say on any new leaks and eventually what Sony unveils tomorrow evening.

Excited?
