Downloadable content for South Park: The Stick of Truth is unlikely, according to the game’s developer.
Speaking to Polygon, Obsidian Entertainment CEO Feargus Urquhart said: “As far as we know [Ubisoft and South Park] are done.”
Early on in the game’s production, there was talk about downloadable content for the game. Urquhart explained: “We had always talked about it, extending the story through DLC, it was just stuff on paper.
“But it never went beyond talking about it. That was when THQ was involved. When it moved to Ubisoft, there was more pressure to get it done. I think that became the priority, so we got it done.”
South Park: The Stick of Truth was released in March 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The role-playing game scored 80% in the Console Monster review.
