Sony Santa Monica are remastering both God of War 1 & 2 for PS3 with trophy support, releasing it as a collection pack for the American holiday period. Europe sadly is not getting the collection pack in 2009, nor have an estimated release date in 2010.
“We are currently looking into options to bring God of War I and II to SCEE consumers on PS3; however it will not be possible to release the games this calendar year. We will provide further information in due course.”
No 720p God of War for us then. The discs should be region free however so importing shouldn’t be a problem.
