Next-gen Shadow Warrior delayed

The next-gen version of Shadow Warrior has been delayed, according to the game’s publisher.

Bandai Namco confirmed that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will now release on October 24th, as opposed to the September 26th date it was originally set for.

The retro-inspired reboot contains the following exclusive content:

  • A new Arena mode where Lo Wang faces off against waves of enemies in three custom-designed environments
  • All-new campaign content featuring the head of the nefarious Zilla Corporation
  • Exclusive weapons including the sledgehammer from Serious Sam 3, the katana from Hotline Miami, the ‘Zilla Enterprises Z45 katana’ and ‘classic Shadow Warrior katana’

Shadow Warriors launches on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Friday, October 24th, 2014.
