New maps for Halo 3 announced

Today Bungie revealed plans for a batch of new maps for their record breaking game Halo 3. The first of these is the Heroic Pack which is to be released on December 11th on Xbox Live Marketpalce for 800 MS points.

Sounds alot doesn’t it? To say we paid a lot for the Legendary edition, this is quite a bit of extra money. However, if you are patient enough to wait till Spring, you can get the maps for free before the next batch are released.

The pack includes 3 different maps. The first is Standoff, which is an outdoor map good for mid sized games such as Team Slayer and Team Objective. The second is Rat’s nest. This is an indoor map that focuses on larger scale games such as Big Team Battle. The map also focuses on the use of vehicles. The last map is Foundry which is very good for use with Forge, as you are able to edit almost everything in the map including stairs etc.
