Just yesterday we got our hands on some new info. regarding the control setup in Assassins Creed. Of course Bungie thought that they’d release their own fact sheet regarding the control setup in the upcoming title Halo 3.
The new system Bungie say has been created to make better use of the new Xbox 360 controller. The old controller setup was practically perfect, with everything where it should be. Whats more the little things like if you wanted to crouch you hold to hold down the right thumbstick, but after about 30 seconds you would find yourself struggling to stay down and crouching was that little bit more difficult compared to games like GRAW.
Although the old setup was near perfect, Bungie have had to tweak the settings for the new controller and its good to hear that they haven’t forgotten about the ultra swish new 360 controller.
Bungie have not only taken into account the new 360 controller, but they have also taken retro gamers into account as they will be including control setups from Halo 1 and 2 in the the new game.
Bungie also went on to say the following – “There are some other changes that are game-feature dependent that I can’t talk about yet,” So it looks like simply spraying and praying won’t be enough, you will have to tactically outsmart the opponent, but hopefully Bungie will reveal even more info on that aspect in the next few weeks.
