Need for Speed: Shift demo gearing up for Thursday release

EA have announced a demo for their recently-released racer: Need for Speed: Shift, will arrive on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network on Thursday (1st October).

The demo will feature two race tracks, coming in the form of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and the tight city circuit of London River, racing in four of the game’s cars, with an additional unlockable car – unlocked by dominating each track and collecting enough stars. The cars are as follows:

1. BMW M3 (E46)
2. 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10
3. 2006 Lotus Elise 111R
4. 2008 Nissan GT-R
5. 2006 Pagani Zonda F (unlockable)

On the same day, EA’s upcoming rock title: Brutal Legend will also be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace to us European gamers. The same demo released in the US last week.
