A Need for Speedfilm is in the works.
Following the success of the series, Electronic Arts are looking to make a “Fast and the Furious”-type film, based on the video game.
The project will be written by George Gatins and John Gatins, with John also producing the film alongside EA. Warner Bros., Sony and Paramount are already said to be interested in the project.
Need for Speed: The Run, the latest title in the franchise, was released last November 2011. A follow-up is expected to release later this year.
