With the launch ever imminent rumours have been flying around all over the place. Well what’s one more going to do? According to a post on the NeoGaf forums, Activision have taken a stance against cheaters and are restricting some game modes to exclude the party chat feature.

Although a little blurred you can make out the writing;“This multiplayer session requires that you be in the game chat channel. If you don’t switch, you can’t play. Switch to the game chat channel now?

If true this move has it’s benefits, but it also has its downsides. Benefits being people will no longer be able to tell friends where the enemies are once dead. Negatives being that most gamers just play to play and chat with their friends, rather than utilise the party feature for cheating purposes.

What do you make of this move by Activision to clamp down against cheaters? Please refrain from any fan boy related comments!
