Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor PS3, 360 delayed to November

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor‘s PS3 and Xbox 360 versions have been delayed by more than a month, though their new-gen counterparts will still release on time.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced on Tuesday that the last-gen versions need to “take more time in development”, and will thus release on November 18 in the Americas and November 21 in the UK.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the Monolith-developed action RPG will still release on September 30 in the Americas and October 3 in the UK. Warner Bros. also announced that the PC version of the game will release internationally on September 30.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor tells a new story set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It stars a valiant ranger called Talion who, “banished from death and embodied by a mysterious spirit, is compelled to seek vengeance on those who killed his family and left him to die”.
