Microsoft Gives Users Free Month of LIVE For Cloud Outage

Microsoft has today confirmed that gamers who were affected by the outage of Microsoft’s Cloud Save Game feature will recieve a one month LIVE extension free of charge.

The outage lasted all but two days with the Microsoft engineers”working around the clock to get the issues resolved,” according to the company.

Yesterday saw the feature come back online although a reason for the outage has yet to be found,”We can assure you we’ll also be doing a thorough post mortem to help prevent this from happening again,” says Microsoft’s Xbox Live general manager Alex Garden.
