Metal Gear Rising: Limited Edition & Pre-Order bonus

Limited Edition fan? Metal Gear fan? If you answered yes to both of those questions, you’ll be loving this news. Details have emerged of the special editions that will be making there way to Europe. Let’s take a look.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 Limited Edition version of the game will feature a 30cm figurine of cyborg agent Raiden, and a DLC code to access the White Armour in-game content which gives players an increased capacity to carry life-recovery items.

Now for the details you probably don’t want to know, the price. 25,000 units of the Limited Edition will be released in Europe priced at €99.95. This works out at £81 however knowing how the UK pricing works, it will be more likely to be £89.99. The Limited Edition will be available exclusively at Zavvi stores in the UK.

In similar news, Konami also announced two pre-order incentives in the form of a choice of steelbook covers and unique DLC. The first steelbook cover features a Raiden illustration by character concept artist Yoji Shinkawa, and unlocks the Inferno Armour DLC, which increases the number of throwing weapons Raiden can carry. This is exclusively available with GAME pre-orders.

Not a fan of GAME? Well the second steelbook edition features a render of Raiden and a DLC code for the character’s Commando Armour, which lets him access an increased number of projectile weapons – which we all know will probably be required. It’s available through pre-orders placed at other stores.
