Thank goodness for delays. Mercenaries 2: World in Flames has been delayed for a while now, and it seems Pandemic have chosen the right path. This video, which is a level walkthrough with lead designer Scott Warner, shows how pretty it is, for one, but also how much fun this game is going to be. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction had it’s flaws, but it was a heck of a lot of fun. If Pandemic has ironed out these flaws, then World in Flames is a game to look out for.
The video basically shows how to complete one level using each of the three mercenaries in the game. Minus the repetitive quick-time events, this game looks fantastic and I can’t wait to get my hands on it come September 6th (August 31st for those in the US).
