Today Konami has announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 will come to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms this Autumn ’07 which will be the latest in the series.
We’ve also been treated to six new in-game screenshots which you can view from our 360Directors Box or PS3Directors Box.
Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka, creator and producer of PES 08 has commented;
“We have taken a long hard look at what has made the Pro Evolution Soccer series so popular, and where we want to take it next. With the new Teamvision AI system, we truly believe that we have elevated the game to a new level. The movement of players off the ball, coupled with the total control given to the player, creates the closest simulation of real football to date. We really hope everyone enjoys our evolution. I promise it will be worth the wait.”
TeamVision as mentioned above is a hugely sophisticated Artificial Intelligence system which is unique to Konami. TeamVision will learn new ways to attack and counter attack to give gamers a new challenge each game, it’ll pick up your errors and weaknesses and let the AI take advantage of them.
