Fans of System Shock 2 will be interested in this upcoming title BioShock, a first-person action RPG set against an alternate World War 2 backdrop where soldiers are combined with all manner of creatures to form genetically altered mutants.
Combining a spine-chilling setting, sci-fi themes, RPG elements and a deep storyline with first-person action, BioShock resembles System Shock 2 in several ways, and although BioShock does not take place in the System Shock universe, it can be thought of as a spiritual successor to the series.
