Medal of Honour Gets Airborne

Electronic Arts have announced today that their upcoming title in the hugely popular World War 2 series – Medal of Honour: Airborne is landing on European shores 31st August 2007. This is the latest installment in its long history, first unveiled back in 1999.

MOH: Airborne places you a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, parachuting in to Nazi occupied territory. Neil Young Vice President and General Manager at EALA [Electronic Arts Los Angeles] commented:

“Medal of Honor Airborne is a new direction for the franchise introducing innovations that redefine the series as well as impact the FPS genre as a whole, We can’t wait for August when everyone can experience the new Medal of Honor, the first WWII game that allows the player to land anywhere and truly fight the way they want to.”
