Marvel to go next-gen

Activision today announced that a new Marvel game is officially in production. The new game dubbed Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is being created by Raven Software and looks set to feature more comic book characters than any game before it.

In total there will be a massive one hundred and forty different characters within the game. What’s more, you will be able to play as at least twenty of them, maybe more. You will be able to assume the role of legends like Blade, Spiderman, Wolverine and many more.

Will Kassoy of Activision had this to say about the new game: “Marvel: Ultimate Alliance delivers a new twist on action/RPGs where players’ actions and choices ultimately determine what happens to the Marvel universe, this coupled with the game’s enormous character roster will deliver an action-packed experience that comic book fans have been waiting for.”

In Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, gamers will be able to create their own clans with custom logos, costumes and vehicles. You and your team of macho men will go face first into battle and your goal is of course to beat the bad guys.

If everything goes as planned then the game will hit the next-gen Xbox 360 late this year. Look out for a First Look at this awesome game here at 360Monster.
