Man sues Microsoft for broken Xbox 360

We knew it would come eventually. Reuters have reported that a man from Chicago purchased an Xbox 360 console, and then decided to sue Microsoft, because it was faulty.

The man filed a lawsuit on Friday 2nd December in federal court in Illinois, which also claimed that Microsoft knew about faulty machines but released them anyway. This crazy money grabbing American has asked for damages and litigation related expenses to be paid by Microsoft, as well as replacement and maybe even recalling of Xbox 360’s.

Other reports however suggest that Microsoft are doing everything in their power to replace faulty 360’s, and claim that only 3% of all their consoles are actually classed as “faulty” – which is expected with ANY new release of hardware. Over-heating issues have already been explained as the PSU not getting enough ventilation.

Maybe this American guy just wants some more money?
