A new Lips sequel could be revealed at E3 following the discovery of track licensing with The Royalty Network.
The music network has a list which includes ‘The Way I Are’ by Thimbaland and Kerry Hilson, as well as James Blunt ‘You’re Beautiful’, Beyonce and Shakira ‘Beautiful Liar’ and Black Eyed Peas ‘Don’t Phunk With My Heart’.
You can see for yourself by visiting the website but it lists the song as being used in a game called ‘Lips Uno’, which could well be the name of the sequel. Or it could be a combination of karaoke and a card game (get what I did there?).
Either way, download content is available each week for the first karaoke title for the Xbox 360, however a sequel could be possible this Christmas. We’ll keep an eye on things at E3 where an announcement is most likely to be made.
