id Software are considering bringing more of it’s retro titles to the Xbox Live Arcade. Speaking to Firing Squad, id’s Todd Hollenshead said the success/failure of DOOM will determine whether they bring more games to the Arcade.
“We’re looking at bringing some of the other games to XBLA, but a lot is going to depend on the response to DOOM. From what MS tells us, it’s been fantastic so far, which bodes well for other id ‘classics’ to be released there. But there’s nothing concrete”
So we could well be seeing the likes of DOOM II, Wolfenstien 3D and Commander Keen on the Xbox Live Arcade soon.
